Will there be a hebrew phonetic version, and a Manga version as well?

Oh my God MM, too funny, I will definately be getting the podcast in cuneiform, interpretive dance, and hopefully the skywriting versions, though I am aboot 50 miles from downtown L.A….. so do you think we can get a capture of the skywriting version in h.264?

BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE FRICKIN’ SWEET!

Excellent podcast! Please send me the wax roll to the address on my personal “status” page. ;) Poor Chinese, they’re missing all the fun of your wit and sweet voice Merlin. ;)

I understand that you want to help- but let the transcript go. That’s why it’s a pod-cast. I loved listening to these first six days. Thanks for the laugh.

A GTD Success Story

The Guardian’s David McCandless talks about his experience with David Allen’s Getting Things Done (GTD) and shares some nice lessons learned. He also talks a bit about why GTD is so popular on the Web. On the web, for example,…

I'm writing from Beijing, and...

I’m writing from Beijing, and I am sorry to infom you that 43 folders is, unlike Wikipedia, not banned right now. I think it was for a short period some time ago, though, and yes, RSS feeds are realy convenient for banned blogs (everything on blogspot, for a start).

Therefore, you have no excuse not to make your podcast available in chinese characters etched on a series of jade figures by 100-year old mute taoist monks. I’m definitely looking forward to it.

(In the “praise of the new website” category, I’d like to mention that as I type these comments, a ghost image of the “Geek shwag” and amazon images (no text) keep flickering on top of the comment box (It only appears for a very brief instant for each keystroke) - it probably has something to do with the “instant preview” feature - mildly annoying. I’m using Firefox on a Debian machine).

Merlin, Merlin, Merlin.

When will you learn that I dont give up control to the stars to just anybody.

Why dont you try cloud seeding and move the clouds around first so that the message is visible from space?

Baby steps child! And thanks for the musical. I love a good one.

Is it too late to request a tattoo of your podcast? Or too early to ask for it to be removed? Thanks for getting under my skin.

Alex suggested aquiring a jingle. I hope you don’t. One of the things that has been most refreshing about the podcasts is that they don’t try to sound like they really should be on the radio. They sound made for iPods.

A dissent: I've been following...

A dissent: I’ve been following this site for about 10 months and I have to say that I think podcasting kinda goes against the life hacking/efficiency thing. One of the great things about blogs, versus podcasts (and, dear God, videoblogs), is that I can browse the text QUICKLY and decide whether the content has relevance. Merlin, are youg now going to make me listen to a podcast — a time based enterprise? (Sure, Merlin, you’re more entertaining than most of the navel-gazers out there… but still.) And BTW, making a podcast and uploading it can’t be quicker than doing a blog post. Merlin, are you procrastinating?

I still think the body copy text size vs. the links/headlines is too similar. I love the new design structure but still find it hard on the eyes for scanning the page.

It would be nice if the body copy was the size your comment’s copy is here…

But hey - as you say - it’s America. You’re a true patriot! Rock on!

To Paul (about five comments above): I think that as podcasts go, Merlin’s being great with respect to the time/productivity tradeoff. Brevity rocks. Hour-long rambling would be nasty, but itty bitty podcasts seem like a great fit to me.
