Robert: if you’re using fink, installing svn is as easy as
fink install svn. However, there’s also a detailed article about the subject on MacDevCenter: Making the Jump to Subversion. In addition to the usual CLI goodies, there are a couple of GUI clients, iSVN and SvnX.
