Heh, the hard part is “4. Go, and sin no more.” From time to time I clear out my inbox, only to find it full of 1000+ emails in no time. What I’ve found to work best for me is to use aggressive filtering to shove everything into one of my many subfolders and also to mark everything as “read” when I go through my email, giving each at least a cursory glance. As long as there are no numbers in parentheses after any of my mail folders, I’m email-stress-free.
