I keep a money clip...

I keep a money clip for cash and I keep all my cards in my fancy checkbook/cardholder.

I keep the checkbook in my computer bag/jacket pocket and it’s never in the way but always easy to access. When I absolutly need to travel light I just take my ID and ATM card and stick them in the money clip.
