I have to say that the safety razor has been good to me for the month or so I’ve had it. I have to pay more attention, but if I do the shave at least seems closer. Haven’t done the brush thing lately.

Kiehl’s “goggle-foggers” shaving cream is the best, but I am trying out Proraso at the moment and it’s working out decently.

If anyone’s still reading the comments, I have a question though: how do I deal with the weird omnidirectional neck hairs? Every other area is easy to shave, but I often have to go over the neck twice and consequently nick myself more than I should. Things I have tried: shaving against the grain, shaving with the grain, shaving sideways.
