This was wonderful and tremendously...

This was wonderful and tremendously helpful. I was particularly struck—actually sort of overwhelmed—by David’s insight that the thing you procrastinate about the most is the thing that is closest to your soul and thus the thing which you are most frightened of. I’m writing a late-in-life dissertation (I’m an opsimath: great word), and I am both desperate to get it finished and desperate to NOT do it, so mostly I don’t. Thanks to you guys, I now have a new way to think about it that I think might help break the logjam.
