I have no idea what kind of material you’re teaching exactly, but how about breaking things up in 3 or maybe 4 seperate presentations (based on topics, subtopics, different viewpoints or approaches)? In between you could have Q&A, and challenges for the students. I think nothing can keep a class awake like the opportunity to think and discuss about information, instead of just absorbing it. Just my 2 cents.
