Saddlebag vs. Dubov

Saddlebag vs. Dubov

HI,

I’ve been following the Saddleback leather thread for a while without joining 43 folders. Today I did because after reading what everyone had to say, decided to look other brands with similar products. Finally, I ran across a bag with very similar design as Saddleback, made of the same material, lined with pig leather instead of suede and priced at $350. The maker is an Israeli leather craftsman who brands his products “Dubov.” After reading the threads, I really didn’t feel like gambling on a $500 purchase with Saddleback, so I’m pretty close to buying this Dubov bag. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150205963094&indexURL=0&photoDisplayType=2#ebayphotohosting

The thing is, I’m pretty fastidious about research and while Yuri, the dude who sells them on ebay, has been pretty cool about answering impertinent questions (like: what is the difference between your bags and saddleback), I can’t find anyone who has posted a review or who even mentions the company online. Does ANYONE have ANY info on this company, I’m about to spend the dough but would love some info. Thanks
