Firewall

Firewall

If you need something to stop you from browsing the web then I would suggest a software firewall. Using a firewall such as little snitch (OS X) or kerio personal firewall (Windows) to just disable your network connections is far more practical. All network connectivity is then gone and you are forced to work.

Unplugging the router is an option, but a decent firewall will make it much easier. That might be a bad thing as you can turn it back on easily.
