Unison for Library sync?

Hi,
I’ve been reading through some of the suggested tips for synching a laptop and a desktop. It’s unclear what everyone is actually synching.
Specifically, I guess I’d like to synch my whole home folder, including the Library. Is this okay? Will it do anything unpleasant to either mac? What do you sync?
