Bio

Andy lives in Northeast Indiana as the marketing director of the Fort Wayne Dance Collective, a non-profit arts organization in downtown Fort Wayne. He graduated from Indiana University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in English Journalism, and wrote for various local newspapers. He currently reviews pencils and pencil accessories for Pencil Things.

Andy prefers triangular pencils, but doesn’t often use one because he hasn’t yet encountered a sharpener that can carve a perfect point on the tip. This may be attributed to the awkward hold he has on the sharpener, as he is left-handed, but he’s still looking.

His hobbies include writing, reading, internet-surfing, bicycling and walking around his yuppie neighborhood.
