Your 43 Folders wish list?

Thanks again to everyone for their patience with our little team getting the site up. Thanks for everything. BUT! Enough of this self-congratulation.

We got us a hot-rod new CMS and some hard, pipe-hittin’ new members to help make things fun and interesting. So you tell me:

What new features and functionality do you want to see on 43f? If you’re a Drupal fan already, what modules, Views, or general tweaks do you think we’re missing? What would make your visits more enjoyable, useful, and productive?  read more »

widget

Dear Sirs:

I like you widget, but I wish it were a little more flexible either the sliding bar would slide rather having to set it to preset increments or we could type in the amount of time to work and the amount of time to break.

Respectively,

Nuclear reset for .Mac synching post

As per the last comment on that post, the post on the Nuclear reset for .Mac synching keeps reappearing in my NNW feed for no apparent reason (i.e., no edits or other changes that I can see). I would have posted this in the thread, but comments appear to be closed.

Not a big deal, but it is mildy annoying, especially since I don’t really have any problems with .Mac synching. (nyah nyah) ;-)

Adding Extended Tracker module?

http://drupal.org/project/xtracker has what appears to be a drop-in replacement for the regular tracker module, currently visible at http://www.43folders.com/tracker. It allows people to filter out particular tracker entries that are uninteresting (like usernode creation), perhaps making it easier to keep up with new replies, new topics, and new blog posts? Or to just keep up with people signing up without having to wade through a bunch of post entries?

Merlins War on clutter thread?

Greetings, I found this site after finding “My War on Clutter” in a google search. I joined because I wanted to read the rest of Merlins articles on this subject. Thus far, I can only find the original thread and the numerous comments on it but can not find the rest of the stories/articles/posts pertaining to it. I have belonged to several other message boards and forums but apparently none set up like this one. I did not see a section on how to navigate the site either. If someone could help me find the rest of that thread, I would greatly appreciate it.  read more »

Adjusting or replacing the spam filter?

No idea how much spam gets caught here on a daily basis, but I’ve had two of my replies get eaten by moderation, never to resurface. Probably had too many links in them, but they were relevant links included in fairly long replies.

Is the solution posted here better than what’s currently in place?

Or, on a related note, does anyone go through the moderated replies list?

The most recent podcast for Jan 4th 2007 is not showing up in iTunes. Please delete this message when the issue is resolved or reported. For some reason comments were disabled for me on the actual podcast blog post.
