The joy of getting organized

Hi All,

I'm not sure what the etiquette on self-linking is on the board, but given that it's generally frowned upon elsewhere, I thought I'd simply copy and paste this entry from my blog, in the hope it might give someone a smile.

The joy of getting organized

When was the last time you had an organazm?

I was poking around 43folders [1] earlier today, and it occured to me that there's a great opportunity for a new word to describe the excitement some people feel when they're getting organized.

Quote:
"Organazm"

So, a person who needs to go for a brisk walk and take a cold shower at the mere thought of getting organized would probably then be described as being "completely organazmic," and so on.

Yes, lol, I admit that it does sound kind of lewd, but after all, this *is* the internet, and if whatever you're talking about doesn't involve latex-covered donkeys, it's probably considered quite tame by comparison to a lot of material out there.

So, why not have an organazm today?

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »
