We've started a new feature over on MacBreak Weekly that I really hope becomes a regular thing: "_Mac Whines_!" Yeah, sure, I'm an unapologetic Apple fanboy (I, mean duh), but some stuff about my Mac experience makes me crazy. Have you got a beef with your Mac or OS X you want to shout from the shiny counter of the "Genius" Bar? Yeah, me too. I'll open with:

My whine is this. by the way love all you podcasting fellows. smashing bunch the lot of you. It's about my iMac right? I'm a Uni student in london. I use my computer for everything, working tool and entertainment center. So I like to listen to an audiobooks while in bed but leave my cough entertainment downloading cough in the background. But basically why isn't it i can't turn off the monitor? If i put it to sleep everything stops. If i leave it on i've got a 24 inch screen lighting up my entire room for 15 mins before i can get to kip! Oh sure i can change my screen sleep settings. but then that buggers up my screensaver settings and if i watch a youtube video my screen goes dim before the end.! If you use this in macbreak weekly.
