We've started a new feature over on MacBreak Weekly that I really hope becomes a regular thing: "_Mac Whines_!" Yeah, sure, I'm an unapologetic Apple fanboy (I, mean duh), but some stuff about my Mac experience makes me crazy. Have you got a beef with your Mac or OS X you want to shout from the shiny counter of the "Genius" Bar? Yeah, me too. I'll open with:

lack of sloppy focus. I know, it goes against everything the mac stands for (At least that's what I keep being told) but I've put hacks on the mac that enables sloppy focus and it doesn't cause me the grief everyone says it does. maybe this wouldn't be such an issue if I had a mac desktop and a mouse attached, but with the touchpad I want to POINT to the window I need, not click on it. I mean, come on. that tiny thing really would be enough to make Mac migration nigh-transparent. » POSTED IN:
