43f Forum Wishlist items?

I'm going to firewall some time over the next little while to make improvements to the software that runs our Forum (where you are right now), to add some new features, fix some broken ones, and maybe try to freshen up the look a bit.

I'd love to hear any suggestions you have for things that would make this a more useful and enjoyable place for you as well as pointing out all the busted-ass stuff that I've broken in previous upgrades, etc. :) .

I'm not much of a whiz at vBulletin but I realize that I probably need to learn. I'd love to try and make it easier for folks who enjoy chatting here to use the site in a way that's intuitive and fun.

Buttons acting up--hrm, I'll have...

Buttons acting up--hrm, I'll have to play around with this. I know that vB uses some Javascript for its (mighty and wide) backend, so I'll see if I can generate any meaningful errors while wailing on different buttons.

The current version is now 3.6.5, and we're using 3.6.4...that's a low enough versioning number to be some bugfixes, so I'll check on that as well.

Keep reporting the uh-ohs and oh-nos--only makes the forum nicer for everyone. :)

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless

Merlin’s scared. You’re scared. Everybody is scared.

This is the video of Merlin’s keynote at Webstock 2011. The one where he cried. You should watch it. »
