Keeping a task log or timesheet

I'm moving soon, so I've been doing a lot of logistical chores like setting up new utilities, scheduling painters/movers/installations/etc, and I find myself needing to remember exactly when I spoke to people, what we talked about, etc. I'm starting to think I need to keep a task log, just a list of what I do each day so I can reference this information easily, instead of piecing it together through emails or recent calls on my phone. Not a journal; I'm not talking about writing prose here, just timestamps, who/what/when/where. Does anyone else do this, or do you have a clever way to associate this info with the associated NA that triggered the contact in the first place?

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless

Merlin’s scared. You’re scared. Everybody is scared.

This is the video of Merlin’s keynote at Webstock 2011. The one where he cried. You should watch it. »
