Belt clip or pocket (or elsewhere)?

Just curious, how many of you carry your cell phone/Blackberry/PDA on a belt clip vs. in your pocket or elsewhere, like a bag, bandolier, Baby Bjorn, six-gun holster? I was always a pocket person before but lately I've been using the belt clip that came with my smartphone, and while I like the easy access, especially when I'm sitting, I can't shake the feeling that I look like a poser trying to show off my fancy gadget. I suppose this question is a little slanted towards men, but I'd be interested to hear anyone else's thoughts on why they carry the way they do. 6 Comments

Always. Got a new phone with no clip, had to put it in my pocket. Can't get to it when it's ringing, uncomfortable when sitting, so I take it out...and leave it on the desk. So I bought a clip. really nice ballistic canvas case with a metal belt clip. should survive anything short of a nuclear war. I could care less about what people think. I'm a certified geek, I had a calculator looped on my belt in 1979. So that's not an issue :-) » POSTED IN:
