Inbox Zero series extended

Inbox Zero

This past week threw me a couple curve balls, so I only ended up finishing about half of the Inbox Zero articles I'd expected to -- including the very in-demand "Okay, smart ass, enough with the hand-waving and tell me how to actually deal with these 5000 emails" post. Couldn't not deliver that one.

The good news (I hope) is that I'm extending this series to at least the end of this week and maybe to the next depending on how much I can finish (it's another busy week already).

The response has been so enthusiastic that I think it's worthwhile to make sure we see it through, and especially that we start drilling down on some more hands-on tutorials.

So stay tuned.

(I post this Sunday, but wanted to make sure it's the first thing you see Monday; more help is on the way, so hang in there!)

Bio

Merlin Mann is an independent writer, speaker, and broadcaster. He’s best known for being the guy who created the website you’re reading right now. He lives in San Francisco, does lots of public speaking, and helps make cool things like You Look Nice Today, Back to Work, and Kung Fu Grippe. Also? He’s writing this book, he lives with this face, he suffers from this hair, he answers these questions, and he’s had this life. So far.

Merlin’s favorite thing he’s written in the past few years is an essay entitled, “Cranking.”

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless

Merlin’s scared. You’re scared. Everybody is scared.

This is the video of Merlin’s keynote at Webstock 2011. The one where he cried. You should watch it. »
