Macworld Expo '08: Merlin talks with the makers of 1Password
Merlin Mann | Jan 22 2008
Aha! Embeddable video for a third MacBreak interview at Macworld ‘08 has turned up — this one’s with Dave Teare at Agile Web Solutions, makers of 1Password. As we discuss in the video, I’m really looking forward to seeing 1Password’s secure password bookmarklet for iPhone. MacBreak: Macworld 2008/Agile Web Solutions
And, as a bonus — just so Dave can catch up with his some of his countrymen’s peerless pop music — here’s videos of three of my favorite Canadian bands. Flashing Lights / “Highschool”Sloan / “The Good in Everyone”Broken Social Scene - 7/4 (Shoreline)POSTED IN:

Merlin, I attended your talk at Macworld… and am now a fan. Thanks!
Speaking of secure password bookmarklet for iPhone/touch, also check out Password Wallet:
http://www.selznick.com/products/passwordwallet/iphone/index.htm
Doesn’t seem to do the auto-fill thing, but it allows you to take your passwords with you securely on your handheld device, all within a bookmark. I suspect this sort of ingenuity won’t be necessary after the official SDK is out and “real apps” are installable… but in the meantime, I thought I’d mention it.
Broken Social Scene and Feist
Broken Social Scene is awesome. Feist is awesome! Her Bonaroo set (on bt.etree.org) is fantastic. Wish I had been listening to them earlier!
Jersey-guy
The Macbreak episode with you talking to the guy from Jersey at Macworld is the most entertaining Macworld coverage I’ve seen.
I bought the macHeist deal for 1password...
I tend to make horrid choices when it comes to passwords, so 1password seemed an ideal solution for me… It’s taken a bit of time getting used to using the software for me… The whole form filling exercise can be at times tedious, but the added protection makes it worth it… Of course the act of updating all my bad passwords for good ones has me on edge (having a screw up here would absolutely suck,) but I intend to do so over the course of the next few days(weeks.) In either case, thanks for the heads up on 1password Merlin!
