'Getting Things Done...FAST!' audio

Hi. Long time listener, first time caller.

I'm wondering if anybody out there has the "Getting Things Done...FAST" recordings. I've found what I've heard to be useful and motivating in ways that the book wasn't, but I don't have the complete version.

Thanks!

I'd love to hear it,...

I'd love to hear it, but isn't it out of print? Or is it just crazy-expensive?

Some piratic forces on the Google Group were swapping MP3 versions, but I'd love to know where I can pick up a legit copy if you know.

Yup, it appears to be out of print, and yup, the remaining copies are crazy expensive. There's one on Ebay right now for $120 or so. Too rich for my blood. I'll go hit the Google group and see if I can track down the mp3s.

Say, while I've got you, I assume you're familiar with Audio Dharma and their podcasts (avail at iTunes), but if you're not, you should be. There's a 10-part, five-week insight meditaion course in their library. I'm going to try to do my first ever meditation session sometime today. You know, as long as I can get everything on my @Calls and @Computer lists knocked out first. :)

I'd be happy to share my copy if David Allen & the GTD Folks (a new band?) won't be upset about copyright. I mean, they're not selling it anymore, so maybe they won't mind? Or maybe they'd rather you buy their new one "Ready for Anything"... Speaking of which, anyone tried it?

I have a copy of Ready for Anything, but I haven't read much of it. Been too busy!

Gtd-f

I got a copy of these CDs when I heard they were being pulled off the market, and I'm glad I did. Rather than an audio version of the Getting Things Done book, this is a recording of David Allen's GTD seminar, and it presents the GTD ideas and techniques in much greater depth and breath than the book can. I've listened several times so far, and it never fails to provide some new insight or motivation.

My guess is that it's been pulled in anticipation of an eventual release of a recording of the revamped Getting Things Done: The Roadmap seminar, so keep an eye on the Davidco website.

I don't want to violate...

I don't want to violate copyright laws, and I'm pretty sure sharing this would do that (it is intellectual property after all). At the same time, I would really like to hear it - everyone who has it says it's great.

It shows up on eBay from time to time, but it's pretty expensive.

David Allen at Google

I have the GTD Fast CDs (bought off ebay a while back for ~$80) and have listened to them twice through and am on my third round. There’s a lot of good info in the CDs and I do recommend them if you can find them.

That said, the video on YouTube covers a few things that are also covered in the CDs, so you can see a “GTD Fast! Lite” if you watch it.
