I have managed to get most of the tools that I will need to commence my big stuff gathering / processing day. However, I am having a bit of trouble with my filing cabinets at work. I have plenty of space but the cabinets I am stuck with do not have compressor plates or anything that would help me file standard folders - it looks like I am stuck with hanging folders.

Any ideas on how I could best use these filing cabinets? My only idea right now is to place labelled file folders or manilla folders inside the hanging folders (one file per folder). Has anybody tried that? Or has anybody got different solutions?

PS: Avoiding hanging folders is important for me because I will need to lift and carry project / reference material between sites.
