MonkeyGTD -- Another GTD Tiddly Wiki

For those that didn't like d3 ("d cubed"), a "kinkless" GTD Tiddly Wiki, you should try MonkeyGTD: http://simonbaird.com/monkeygtd/ I've put a summary of its usage on the 43FoldersWiki: http://wiki.43folders.com/index.php/Monkey_GTD MonkeyGTD has a really nice "Dashboard" that can be viewed over all projects or for one particular project. The big difference from d3 is how you collect your actions. In d3, collection is done as in kGTD. You create a "Project" and then list actions underneath it. It then automatically does the rest. In MonkeyGTD, collection is done by creating actions and tagging them with contexts and projects. It then automatically does the rest. 4 Comments

I love your quick comparison between the two tiddly wikis - you've definitely boiled it down to a most essential element. Thanks! I'm off to read your longer summary now :) »

I wanted to check it out but just got a blank page? I'll retry later to test it out ;-) »

I'm not sure why you get a blank page. For some strange reason, older versions of Firefox used to show a blank page with some TiddlyWiki's. Simply holding down SHIFT and and hitting refresh would almost always load it. (or adding a "./" (without the quotes) after the URL) This was the result of a bug in Firefox. However, I thought the most updated version (1.5.0.2) had fixed this. »
Does this not work in...Submitted by Derek on August 11, 2006 - 10:42am.
Does this not work in Safari or soemthing? I really want to use MonkeyGTD, as I prefer it over the kGTD/d3 workflow, but the dashboard, project overview, and context overviews are totally busted in Safari... »
