When and How to Integrate Slpit Systems

I am trying to implement the ?Action List? part of GTD.

Currently I keep my lists analog, using a notepad.

My problem is trying to maintain 2 separate lists, one for work and one for home.

Has anyone here combined their work and home list? Does anyone have any trick to help me do this?
