How to backup Outlook Express email folders and settings

I want to reinstall Windows Xp soon, as I got a virus and after cleaning the computer doesn't work as smooth as before. I gives some strange erros and sometimes it justs hangs up... I want to backup Outlook Express emails and settings before reinstall, and restore afterwards. Any help? 2 Comments

Outlook and Outlook express are different programs ( with two similar names to confuse people all the time) To backup outlook express follow the directions here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/188854/en-us I do suggest you discontinue use of outlook express asap, besides being one of the most insecure e-mail programs it also has a nasty habit of corrupting its data files which is part of the reason for the KB article, you need to back it up often. »
