Bio

Brett is a software developer focusing on java-based database-driven web applications. He has been involved with the internet since reading Ed Krol's Whole Earth Guide to the Internet in 1991 and learning about Gopher and FTP. He still remembers his first Mac 128K and has a bunch of early floppy disks he can't bear to part with. Brett also sails competitively, is a singer/songwriter/guitarist and composes both choral and electronic music. An editor of Computer Music Journal (MIT Press), he is working on a book about the Theory and Practice of Visual Music.
