Keyboard commands for Safari favorites
Merlin Mann | Sep 11 2004
We’ve already mentioned a way to fit more bookmarks into Safari’s Bookmarks Bar. Now, try moving a few of your really favorite bookmarks into the first few slots in the bar.
Safari binds Hint: You could link to your favorite web pages from those slots, but I’d suggest reserving them for the bookmarklets you use all day. Once you’re accustomed to using the keys, you’ll find yourself relying heavily on them as you surf around. Big timesaver. 5 Comments

Well, this keyboard trick is fanTASTic for me while I’m on my iBook floating in the living room. However, when I’m at my desk, I’m under XP with Firefox. Does anyone know if there’s a way to set up the same deal in it as the quick-keys in safari like this? »
