ADD/ADHT/ADT getting tested...

Hi guys,

Quick question for you... I'm thinking about getting tested for ADD etc., and was wondering if there is anything I should know. Particularly in regards to future work employment issues etc. Is there any negatives to getting labelled ADD? I don't want to dig myself into a hole that I might not be able to get out of. I've been functioning fairly well, but I'm pretty sure I know what the outcome of the tests will be. :)

I'm all ears! Hey, let's go ride bikes!

I see that you are...

I see that you are in IL. I was born there in 1971, in Peoria. I moved to New Orleans, LA in 1980 and then to Alabama in 1990 to go to school and I never left.

I recently went back there for my grandmother's funeral. She lived in Normal (outside of Bloomington). I was amazed at the changes that I had seen since my last visit 20+ years ago.

I really liked the allen/covey/peck post. I have never read covey or peck, but I have The Now Habit on my to read list.

I am thinking of starting to blog, but never sure if I would ever have anything to say. Another member and I are talking about collaberating on a blog so that might be fun.

Michael

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »
