help me find an app

i’ll just copy some of my notes here. i’m trying to find a specific application. i’ve tried the 37signals stuff, stikkit, google-stuff. So far nothing fits the bill very well.

it doesn’t have to be all-in-one (like stikkit) but i wouldn’t mind. either way as long as it all works as one.

stikkit is so close. but the lack of further development and the inability to display data to people who don’t want to start their own stikkit account makes it difficult to keep using.

43 Actions

I searched the site and found no reference to this nifty web app that runs on your iPhone/iPod Touch.

I’ve tried other apps and for me this one is number one - within fifteen minutes of playing with it I spontaneously reached for the Donate button.

Hope it’s of use to someone.

Decision making / planning Software

Hello all

I thought I would ask the collective 43F “Hive mind” about their experience with planning software — not so much project / merlin / omniplan, but decision making software.

I’ve used mind maps to capture thoughts and have several omnigraffle templates for capturing thoughts, etc. that I have used. I like building out visual thoughts, especially to share and discuss ideas.

Then I came across “Flying logic” on the weekend — http://flyinglogic.com/

Omnifocus ready for pre-order!

Just got an email about the release of OmniFocus for January 8, 2008. Here’s the email from Ken Case from The Omni Group:

Hi, all!

You wouldn’t know it from the silence on this mailing list, but it’s been a very, very busy six months for OmniFocus: we’ve sent out “sneaky peek” invitations to 16,193 people, read 20,232 email messages sent directly to our support ninjas (at omnifocus@omnigroup.com) and another 8,326 messages posted to the OmniFocus forums (at http://forums.omnigroup.com/forumdisplay.php?f=38), and we’ve published over 500 “sneaky peek” releases of the software.  read more »
