Teaching and GTD

Hello all!

I am a middle school English teacher (i don't judge grammar or spelling; i'm off the clock!) and am able to use many aspects of GTD in my personal life.

However, GTD in the classroom has thus far eluded me!

Does any one have any ideas for implementing GTD, either on a micro or macro level, in a classroom? I have six different classes (4 8th grade english and 2 7th grade english with 197 students!).

Please help me with any ideas and suggestions!!!!!!!

Steve

Do you mean, literally, in...

Do you mean, literally, in the classroom, referring to classroom activities, teaching, etc?

I think it all boils down to the next-action part of the GTD model. If you want your students to write a paragraph, break it down into tiny steps.

From my end (university teaching and grad school) the problems are more related to organizing marking and correspondence with my students.

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »
