Odds are that many neglected NAs are dull and/or unpleasant. Somewhere in the back of your mind, the child in you thinks that you are better than this . . . that you are above . . . whatever this is. That this isn't the way things are supposed to be. That you have somehow been cheated out of the "good" jobs.

Well . . . get over it. Grow up. Life if chock full of dull, unpleasant, but necessary NAs. Bills have to be paid, children have to fed, clothed, etc. Need "motivation" at work? I'll give you motivation . . . want to guess who gets "let go" first by most employers? It is the dudes who fail to get things done, that's who! And it is the perverse calculus of the universe that the crappier an NA is, the greater the probability that your boss will notice when you fail to do it.

Vizzini (of Princess Bride fame!) speaks for all bosses when he says - - "And you: friendless, brainless, helpless, hopeless! Do you want me to send you back to where you were? Unemployed in Greenland!" Don't give your boss the excuse!
