Exercise Life Hack?

Hey all!

I'm looking for an effective workout life-hack that's 30-40 minutes 3-4 times a week that includes weightlifting and aerobics.

I don't need to be "ripped" -- just want some basic fitness. I'm looking for the most bang for the time spent. (Exercises that use multiple muscle groups, etc.)

Something between the unrealistic get fit for 5 minutes a day group and people who can spend two hours a day at the gym.

I'm looking for some sedentary computer type who researched this and solved this problem.

Anybody out there done this? Want to share your workout?

Thanks!

Reading thru your post, it matches my lifestyle. The other tips may work for some, but they don't do what you want. I started working out three years ago at a gym on machines not knowing what I was doing.

I started reading Men's Health magizine. They have a year long program working all your muscle groups, 30-40 minutes a day, 3-4 days a week. The link for the the only six exercises you'll ever need.

These have helped me a lot. I won't say I would be a poster boy for their magizenes, but I don't have the fat gut (or 40 pounds) I used to have. Good luck.

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »
