Recommended Time/Org Mac software?

After one too many Windows problems, I've finally accepted fate and just placed an order for a new iMac duo core. What are some recommended Mac software for time management (GTD) and personal organization? Rather than just try everything, I would appreciate your suggestions.
If there is an FAQ somewhere which has the answers, please point me to it.
Many thanks.

Welcome to the Cult of Macintosh. Settle back and allow me to read from the Book of Jobs.

Seriously though, here is a list of apps I couldn't live without.
1) Dragthing. App launcher. Info at http://www.dragthing.com.
2) Quicksilver. Swiss army knife do-it-all utility that is a little difficult to explain. Info at http://quicksilver.blacktree.com
3) Adium. Multi-client chat program. http://www.adiumx.com.
4) Firefox. Browser that rocks. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/.
5) NetNewsWire lite. Newsreader to handle rss/atom feeds. http://ranchero.com/netnewswire/
6) iTunes. As a music junkie, I highly recommend iTunes for you listening needs. Free with your new Mac.

Enjoy the purchase. I hope I didn't get any drool on it ; ) ~

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless

Merlin’s scared. You’re scared. Everybody is scared.

This is the video of Merlin’s keynote at Webstock 2011. The one where he cried. You should watch it. »
