WordPress 2 any good?

I noticed that Merlin has been working on upgrading the 43f site to Word Press 2. I've been holding off on the upgrade for my site until I hear that version 2 is really stable etc, or at least see a 2.1 release.

Has anyone tried WP 2? Merlin, if you're reading this, how has your changeover experience been?
