Hey Folks,

Have been using iCal as my calendar of choice over Entourage, but one continued beef I've got is the lame event notifications it offers. Though I'm not an Entourage fan, its event notifications are much better.

Anyone know if there's Growl support for event notifications in iCal or if there are any other ways to hack the app to improve these? Would love something that primarily stands out and gets my attention more than the current iCal alarms. (And no, sending email notifcations doesn't count.)
