Good quality notebook SMALLER than the moleskin?

I'm a city girl and I carry around a small-medium purse. The moleskin is a little large to carry around all the time. Does anyone know of any notebooks that are a bit smaller but still of reasonable quality? 2 Comments

Which size Moleskine are you using? The pocket size one is slightly larger than a 3 x 5 index card, so it's not very large. If I'm wearing a blazer, I'll put it in my inside breast pocket. Otherwise it goes in my back pocket. They also make (paperbound) cahiers in this size, but since they only have about 30 pages in them, they're not very thick. They get a bit beat up, but if you fill it up by the time it gets beat up, it should work fine as they come in packs of 3. »

You know, I often wonder why Moleskine doesn't bring out a poly covered Cahier. It's obvious that the size and flexibility is right for a ton of people, but the covers and binding die too quickly. I'm thinking a cover similar in nature to the Miquelrius (try pendemonium). I know I'd buy one with a poly cover that was tastefully done, flexible, waterproof with a better pocket in back. »
