after you manage the time, getting paid (billing software)
WDavidStephenson | Oct 2 2006
I'm a freelance consultant, so I need to be able to track my time spent accurately for billing. I used Timeslips from the beta version on, but it was eventually sold to a Windoz company, and, IMHO, became bloated. Has anyone found a relatively simple -- yet complete -- time and billing package for Macs? 8 Comments

Time Equals Money and iBiz are good. iBiz seems to be a lot nicer. » POSTED IN:

Just came across this very interesting little tool. (Written in an evening) Basically, appends to an excel spreadhseet - Date/Time/Software/Software Description/Duration So if you have spreadsheet for Customer A open and being worked on for 3 hours - it would record that. all you need to do is put it into a pivot table to get some info out. » POSTED IN:

I found a grat bit of software called studiometry, it is only a trial unfortunately, but it is a great program for tracking progress on a job as well as billing and making notes. i have been using it for a little while and have found it to be great » POSTED IN:

Billings (from the makers of Daylite)Submitted by emory on October 12, 2007 - 6:49am.
Daylite is a great CRM and project management tool, though overkill for a lot of people. They have a billing application that works well with it though it can also work on its own: » POSTED IN:
Depends on how much business financial management you needSubmitted by wreising on October 13, 2007 - 10:33am.
I have always used Quickbooks. I know a lot of people hate it. But nothing works better for total business financial management. It tracks time, generates invoices, does billing and payroll. Quickbooks is way overkill for most people, but if you have even a semi-complex business, give it a look. » POSTED IN:
Freshbooks rocksSubmitted by markdavidanthony on January 27, 2008 - 8:48pm.
I do some freelancing, also, and I do all my billing and time tracking with a very cool, very elegant online solution… FreshBooks. They integrate with PayPal, BaseCamp, and other cool features. I love it. Very simple. Has access for your customers to logon and see balance, invoices, open tickets, etc. You can create estimates, projects, tasks, time tickets, etc. Check ‘em out at FreshBooks. I am only a customer, not an affiliate, no stock in the company or anything. » POSTED IN:
