Carla Hufstedler | Nov 10 2006
If you're using Kubuntu Edgy, as I am, I highly suggest downloading the kicker applet for KAddressBook. Either play around with the package installer, or hit the root shell with The link above lists all of its dependencies, etc., which you most likely have installed. 2 Comments

Thanks for the post. I'm glad to see some interest in productivity stuff on Unix. I'm assuming this applet is available for KDE anywhere, and not just KUbuntu, right? »

Yep--here's Kicker's KDE CVS: http://websvn.kde.org/branches/KDE/3.5/kdebase/kicker http://websvn.kde.org/branches/KDE/3.4/kdebase/kicker It's in the kdebase package. You can also snag it from Debian: http://packages.debian.org/stable/kde/kicker http://packages.debian.org/stable/kde/kicker-applets However, I'm not explicitly finding that applet gnusolaris.org. If you have any problems finding/installing it on your distro, let me know, and I'll poke about, see what I can do. »
