Bluetooth-Enabled Phones

I'm considering upgrading my cell phone and I am thinking about getting a bluetooth phone. Except I don't really care about wireless headphones. I want bluetooth to transfer shopping lists from my computer to my phone (nothing complicated - just a simple text list). Can I do that with bluetooth?
