I bet so. I'm not a Mac noob by any stretch but the first time I saw the install directions for Tracks I almost immediately lost interest. So, saying that, I'm sure that people who are less savvy would be interested in a double-click install. »

I'm thinking just a locomotive automator action or applescript. or! an honest-to-god installer that puts a real live tracks on the target system. what are people's thoughts on that? i personally think making a generic package that installs the goods, uses sqllite and applescript would be the best route, running via webbrick. any thoughts? i may check this into an SVN repo soon and we can hack around on it. »

i've actually been brought into a conversation with bsag et al because she already started on something similar and its being tested now. when there is more information i'm sure it will be there -- i've offered to write any documentation for the bundle. hers is based entirely on a prefab db and Locomotive. »
