iCal to Schedule Mail

I'm hoping one or two of you wizards can help me with this (my son is in bed).

I need to send a prewritten email to a list of people at the same time every week, as a reminder. If I could do this with iCal it would be great. Ideally it would be as simple as it is to send an email to myself as a reminder via iCal.

Any suggestions appreciated,
