Outsourcing & 4-Hour Workweek

What sort of tasks do you outsource to a virtual assistant (VA)?

The question has to do with the book 4-Hour Workweek.

Did you see Merlin's post...

Did you see Merlin's post on this on the main 43F page? There are some interesting responses in the comments with some details of projects and tasks that some readers have outsourced to VAs.

It would be cool to see a thread here in the forums if folks have ideas and experiences with this stuff.

As a salaried corporate employee, this may not be as relevant to me as it is to some of the self-employed / small biz, but I can see trying a VA for some things.

Agreed. That's why I started this little discussion.

outsourcing reading notes

I tried a little experiment, which I just wrote up:

The 4-hour workweek applied: How I spent $100, saved hours, and boosted my reading workflow
http://ideamatt.blogspot.com/2007/08/4-hour-workweek-applied-how-i-spent-100.html

I continue looking for other ways to apply the 80/20 principle, which was clearly a big influence on Tim Ferris (I'm reading Koch's book now). I'd like to hear about experiments anyone else has tried.
