An Artist Trying To Get CreativeThings Done...
Brandon Leedy | Sep 21 2007
Hello everybody, I’m Leadster618, an Industrial Design student at the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP program and I am really trying to use GTD, some zen beliefs, and anything productivity wise I can get my hands on! I am really good about doing “next actions”, but in the art/design world, many times I have no idea what my “next action” will be…its all based on my creativity. Heck, sometimes I could get halfway through a project and need to restart because its just not a very good idea. How does one create actions for the abstract and uncreated? So does anyone have suggestions for helping an artist get things done? Glad to be here! I’m sure I’ll see you all around! Leadster618 POSTED IN:

Welcome aboard!
From a former Cincinnatian, at that.
Wow! Thanks Merlin!
In an effort to enter the five sentence ninja clan I will keep this short. I’m a sophomore this year so I will be able to compare how much more productive I am this year than my freshman year. After a few months, I plan on sharing with everyone my tips on being a more productive artist and (hopeful) successes. Hopefully, my findings will help other artists who frequent 43 Folders and want productivity [The Scarlet Letters post is a great start, btw]! Till then, I’ll see you all around the forums!
