Entourage search vs mac mail

I’m thinking of going back to mac mail. I love the calendar functionality and the nifty widget to make a task from an email, but the search function is so incredibly clunky. Am I missing something? Did mac mail highlight mails in a conversation too?

Trying to find the rest of a conversation and old emails in Entourage is hopeless. Often I want to check back in the sent, archive or project folders to see what I said about something, or what they said…

maybe I should switch back to mac mail. I’m thinking of going back to paper for my calendar and tasks, since I’m very often away from the computer (more than I realized) without the calendar in front of me, and I can’t sync it with my iPaq pda anyhow.

is the search on entourage as half-baked as I think it is? Or am I just not using it right?

cheers

Helen
