Podcasts of non-commercial and public radio shows

As more and more folks (like, say, me) want their radio to go these days, numerous public radio programs are getting wise and starting to offer their stuff in podcast format. I’m thinking I’ll start collecting good-looking sources for public and non-commercial radio podcast indices here. Small for now, but it’ll grow with your help, I hope.

I love getting On the Media (podcast), The Antique Phonograph Music Program (podcast), and Harry Shearer’s very swell Le Show (podcast) this way—now, c’mon Fascinatin’ Rhythm!

Got a good link that collects free podcasts from non-commercial radio shows? Have a favorite or obscure program to recommend in podcast format?

I like the KCRW podcast...

I like the KCRW podcast of "Good Food" - weekly live farmer's market reports from LA plus restaurant and cooking info. "Splendid Table" from Minnesota Public Radio is also available online, but it's streamed as Real not podcast as MP3, much harder to take with you unless you go to the effort to rip it.

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless

Merlin’s scared. You’re scared. Everybody is scared.

This is the video of Merlin’s keynote at Webstock 2011. The one where he cried. You should watch it. »
