Testing the 43F redesign: Report bugs and comments here

I've flipped on this staged version of the site redesign so I can do some testing, iron out some bugs, and see how the load will be handled by WordPress. There's lots of new stuff to talk about here, so feel free to ask questions, make comments and report bugs in this thread. I'll delete it when this officially goes live. If anything huge pops out (or I've missed something brutally obvious about security, for example) email 43bugs@undisclosedlocation.com or hit me on the AIM (aim:hotdogsladies). The ad has moved! What tremendous power we wield! Here are some other annoying layout suggestions, most of which I’m not even sure I agree with: -Maybe shade the side rail to differentiate it a bit more from the main content (a grayish perhaps). -How many users actually have admin privileges? Is it necessary that we all be taunted by the Meta > Login ? Is there a way to maybe hide it altogether or tuck it away at the bottom of the page? I’m guessing most readers will want access to feeds above meta. Does anyone have an archive or screen grab of the old layout? It would be nice to compare. I’m also interested in why you switched to WordPress. Again, I think it’s a great overhaul. Pay no mind to the philistines who think it barren or cold. » POSTED IN:
