Feed2Podcast makes audio out of your feed
Merlin Mann | Jan 15 2006
Technically providing the opposite of what some folks have asked for on 43 Folders (jump to 4:04 or so), Feed2Podcast turns your garden-variety RSS feed into a series of audio files, which can then be subscribed to like a podcast.
It's a clever idea, although the robot voice reading the text sounds, to my ear, like he's hopped up on goofballs and ready for a multi-state crime spree (which, come to think of it, might be a fun way to hear my "writing"). If, for some reason, you think you'd like to hear the last few 43F posts read aloud by a nervous robot, Feed2Podcast and I are happy to oblige:
So out of curiosity, does something like this appeal to you, just in general? Would this be a service you think you'd use, for listening on commutes etc.?
