Ay-yo, trip: I’ll admit to being among the follically challenged–if I were to acquire a beard it would take an on-line order form and 6-8 weeks for delivery–, but as someone who shaves face and head (I had the Michael Jordan look pre-MJ, the result of there not being that many African American-centric barbershops in Japan at the time, knaamean?), I’m down with the Mach III Turbo n’ shaving oil crew, ‘specially when it comes to gettin’ yo shower on. Buy a bottle of pure sweet almond oil and another of castor oil at your local natural foods store; mix the two in the 80/20 range (almond/castor oil) in a breakproof (squeeze-able) smaller travel bottle and put that in the shower. Some o’ y’all do the fog-proof mirror thang; I’ve found that doin’ it like Brother Ray or Stevie Wonder (blind, y’all: eyes closed, totally by feel) leaves ev’rythang smooooth. But maybe that’s just my thang; yo mileage may vary. Holla! » POSTED IN:
