GTD Book vs. audio

I've ordered the book and am waiting for it now.

I notice that GTD is also available as audio, but it's an abridged version. I'm thinking of downloading it from audible for my husband, but hoped to get some feedback first.

I started with the audio-book...

I started with the audio-book - got things going nicely along with the free advanced workflow diagram from Dave Allen's site as reference - but now I'm reading the book to better understand and hone the process.
