MLO + Filofax

I'm relatively new to GTD so my trusted system is still developing (along with my trust in it!).

It centers around MyLife Organized at http://www.mylifeorganized.net, which I have on both my home and work computers. The license allows for installation on up to five PC (and my boss paid for the software, too). This provides an outline covering the current project, miscellaneous to-dos (I have them groups under various responsibilities at work, and things like "Hobbies", "Home Maintenance", "Travel Plans" at home), and someday/maybe lists in an outline format.

It also lets me specify start dates (so functions as a tickler file), and to hide things from the To-Do list (someday/maybe).

Pretty much anything else is filed with a reference in MLO, so I know where to find it.

It's the paper filing that's the hard bit!

Andy

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »
